Shujaa hope for better performance at Sevile sevens
After poor performance in Malaga Sevens last Weekend, Shujaa now seek to redeem themselves at the fourth leg of the World Seven series in Sevile on Friday while seeking to qualify for the main cup of the quarter finals.
Kenya performed dismally in Malaga, getting the 13th place after claiming just a point.
With the help of Innocent Simiyu, Shujaa managed to beat France 26 – 15 but lost all other matches: 26- 17 to japan, 19 – 14 to wales, 19 -17, Canada and 17 – 12 to wales.
Kenya’s Shujaa will begin their campaign against Australia who worked their way to semifinals last week. Shujaa is meeting Australia for the second time this season and the last time they met in Dubai Australia won 21 – 14.
