BetLion Promise to fund local sports

BetLion, which is now the largest betting firm in African has promised to fund local sports, a move that will see local sports benefit immensely.

The promise timely comes when a number of local sports are going through difficult financial times partly due to covid 19 pandemic.

As reported by the star, Spencer Okach, the managing director of the firm said that plans of supporting local sports are now in their final stages. Okach affirmed that BetLion “commit to making Kenyan sports better” and they “intend to use the proceeds from this jackpot to develop the same.”

Due to financial constrain experience by sports in the country, cooperate firms have been urged to come on board and give their support to save the situation. Only that at a time like this many businesses could the undergoing financial challenges due to the negative economic impact caused by the pandemic.

“When we launched in Kenya, we did promise to construct a product that is not only exciting but also rewarding. The release of the BetLion Goliath Jackpot, Africa’s Biggest Jackpot, is a true testament to that promise,” said Okach, as reported by the star.
